Emergency services attended a one-vehicle crash on a rural Aberdeenshire road this evening.
Firefighters from Insch and Alford attended the accident scene on the A980 Banchory to Alford road north of Muir of Fowlis and helped free the male driver who had become stuck underneath his own vehicle.
A Scottish Fire Service spokeswoman said: “We got a call out at 21.58pm to a one vehicle RTC just north of Muir of Fowlis on the A980.
“The driver had become stuck underneath his own vehicle and we got him out using cutting equipment. The stop call came in at 22.23pm.
“The man was attended by paramedics at the scene and is not thought to have been taken to hospital.”
Police also attended the crash and a spokesman confirmed: “We attended an road traffic accident involving one male driver who had no serious injury. An ambulance crew examined the man at the scene.”
