The top two sides in the Press and Journal Highland League both increased their points tally with convincing away wins today.
League leaders, Cove Rangers, hammered Nairn County 8-0, while Fraserburgh thrashed Lossiemouth 5-1 at Grant Park.
Third placed Brora Rangers missed out on the chance to catch up with their rivals, as their fixture away to Turriff was called off due to a waterlogged pitch at The Haughs.
The Wick Academy vs Rothes result will follow later. Kick-off for the tie at Harmsworth Park was delayed until 4pm as the Speysiders’ bus broke down on the trip north.
