When it comes to the football tonight, plenty of Dons fans will be saying “I Don’t Want To Talk About It.”
But some north-east folk did get to enjoy the company of legendary rocker Sir Rod Stewart before the 3-0 defeat to his favourite team, Celtic.
The die-hard Hoops fan was at The Silver Darling restaurant in Pocra Quay, Aberdeen before the match where he had pictures with his fans and signed a menu.
Photographs were posted onto the restaurant’s Facebook page with the caption: “Tonight’s the night. Delighted to host a very special guest for some dinner this evening. #thesilverdarling
At Pittodrie the first cut was the deepest for the Dons, when Kieran Tierney fired the visitors in front after 13 minutes. And prolific striker Moussa Dembele proved some guys have all the luck by adding a goal in each half to complete the scoring. The result leaves the Dons three points adrift of the Scottish Premiership leaders.
