A sinking fishing boat with 10 people on board has been rescued off Shetland today.
The 44-metre Sea Hunter reported it was taking on water due to a burst pipe just north of Lerwick Habour.
Shetland Coastguard was alerted just after 7.30am.
The Sumburgh-based Coastguard search and rescue helicopter and Lerwick Lifeboat were sent to the scene and two pumps were put on board the stricken vessel.
The Sea Hunter was then towed safely into Lerwick Harbour by a Lerwick Port Control vessel.
Firefighters and Lerwick Coastguard Rescue Team were sent to meet the vessel at the Harbour to assist in pumping out of the water that was still onboard.
