A north-east support group is hoping budding bakers will get involved to mark its first birthday.
Miscarriage Information Support Service (MISS) was founded by Abi Clarke in February 2017 to provide support to parents, and their family and friends, who have lost children.
Since its launch, the charity has provided monthly meet-ups featuring speakers including midwives and yoga teachers, and activities provided by local businesses.
Mrs Clarke said: “I think it’s gone really well so far.
“We have had quite a few members coming to the sessions.”
To celebrate its first anniversary, the group is planning a city-wide bake sale on February 28, encouraging office workers across Aberdeen to bring in treats for their colleagues.
Members of MISS will also be hitting the streets to spread their message.
“I think it will be a good way to bring more awareness to it in this part of Scotland,” Mrs Clarke added.
“So if anyone can make something for it, that would be great.”
Any money raised will be used by the group to support its members over the next year by creating a website, raising more awareness and registering as a charity.
