The call came in shortly after 10am from the Craigivar Castle in Alford following reports a blaze had emerged. The fire service sent four units to the scene from Banchory, Alford and Aboyne. A fire service spokesman said: “We found a fire had emerged on our arrival. “The stop message came back at 11.20pm.” More to follow.
