Police are appealing for help to track down a missing man last seen disembarking a ferry in Ullapool earlier today.
Gerald Newman, 51, was last seen leaving the Loch Seaforth Ferry at 4.22pm but his whereabouts are now unknown.
Mr Newman is more than 6ft tall, speaks with a Yorkshire accent and has a heavy build.
The grey-haired man was wearing grey glasses, blue jeans, a light blue jumper and a dark blue Berghaus jacket.
He was seen carrying a tweed style laptop bag.
Police officers say they are becoming “increasingly concerned” for the welfare of Mr Newman, and are appealing for anyone who has information that could assist them to call 101.
