A 57-year-old man has been charged in connection with the recovery of cannabis valued at £38,400 from a property in Skye.
Officers from the Portree and Kyle of Lochalsh local policing teams conducted a search of the premises in Ard Dorch near Broadford on Saturday, in response to information received from the community.
A quantity of cash worth a low four-figure sum was also seized during the operation.
Constable Jani Kari-Koskinen, who led this operation, said: “Yet again the Skye community has shown its commitment to working with us to remove controlled drugs from our streets and I wish to thank those who shared the information that resulted in this action.
“There remains no place for drugs in the Skye, Lochalsh and Applecross area and I encourage anyone who has information to contact us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
The man is expected to appear in court at a later date.
