A yellow weather warning has been issued across the north of Scotland for heavy thunderstorms tomorrow.
The Met Office has warned of “slow-moving” and “heavy” thunderstorms developing on Saturday afternoon with a chance of flash-flooding, a statement issued this morning online said: “There is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life.”
Motorists are being warned to expect delays due to difficult driving conditions and there may also be a “slight chance” of power cuts.
The warning is expected to remain in place until 9pm tomorrow.
