The young winner of the best performance award at the 2018 Lewis Provincial Mod was the special guest of the Western Isles Council yesterday. Sarah MacBain of Breasclete School on Lewis won for her story on the war and took her trophy along to show members of the council’s Gaelic Committee. The 2018 Lewis Provincial Mod took place last week.
