Emergency services have been called to a one-vehicle crash on an busy Aberdeen road this afternoon.
The accident happened on the Lang Stracht near the junction of Fernhill Drive just after 1.30pm.
It is understood the driver and his car collided with a lamppost.
A police spokesman confirmed that one male had been transferred to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment, and that the extent of his injuries is not yet known.
He added: “We’re still at the scene at the moment. The car is still on the road. One person has been taken to hospital for treatment.”
