Lifeboats have been dispatched today to investigate reports of two kayakers in trouble off Crovie and two swimmers in difficulty at Fraserburgh beach.
Crews from Buckie, Macduff and Fraserburgh all launched this afternoon to help.
The Macduff and Buckie crews sped off to help rescue a pair of kayakers who got into difficulty near Crovie at 3.15pm.
The Fraserburgh lifeboat was dispatched at 3.56pm to aid two swimmers at Fraserburgh beach.
A HM Coastguard spokesman said: “We attended Fraserburgh beach after receiving reports of two persons in the water, they have been rescued and are safe and well.
“We also attended two kayakers in difficulty near Crovie, they have also been rescued and are both safe and well.”
