Fire crews were called to the Gramps earlier today in response to yet another gorse fire.
Firefighters were called at around 1pm to tackle a small gorse fire in the Torry area of the city which has been plagued with fires for almost three weeks.
It was extinguished by 13.50pm.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call about a fire in the Gramps at 12.55pm.
“We had one appliance on the scene from the central station.”
Firefighters have been called to the area more than 30 times since September 7 to tackle grass and gorse fires.
Yesterday, Ryan Smith was remanded in custody after appearing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. The 18-year-old was charged with four counts of wilful fireraising and made no plea.
