A new man has been installed look after standards and discipline on the RAF Lossiemouth base.
Mark Ratcliffe took over the job of Station Warrant Officer (SWO) on Monday, replacing outgoing officer Al Milligan.
His job means he is the Station Commanders right hand man.
WO Milligan has been in the post for the past three and a half years but is leaving it to take up a role in the Lossiemouth Development Programme (LDP).
He described his time in the job as “busy” and added: “Holding the position of Station Warrant Officer for the past three years has been a tremendous privilege, particularly during the Royal Air Force’s centenary year.
“This role has been the pinnacle of my 36-year career.
“I am fortunate to be staying on base, working on the LDP, and am looking forward to being part of an exciting time of development at RAF Lossiemouth.”
Warrant Officer Mark Ratcliffe, a survival equipment fitter for 35 years, returns to RAF Lossiemouth from his most recent role in the Defence Search, Evade, Resist and Extract Training Organisation at RAF St Mawgan.
