Drivers are being warned to expect short delays next week while a temporary bridge is installed at Glencoe.
The bridge, to resolve a bottle neck problem on the A82 Fort William to Glasgow road, south of Glencoe village, will be installed between Wednesday and Friday.
Bear Scotland say that no one should be delayed for more than 10 minutes.
A spokeswoman said: “The bridge elements and the crane vehicle will be transported from the north and this will require the vehicles to be turned and reversed into our assembly and crane platform areas as part of the logistics.
“During this activity we will have the traffic lights put on red-red to carry out the reversing within maximum of 10 minutes as the parking lay-by we are reversing into is less than 200 yards from the site.
“The traffic lights will be operated by marshals during the three days to ensure the traffic is well monitored and controlled.
“Most of the turning will be carried out at off peak times, except for the crane vehicle which will arrive by 7.30am on June 19.”
