Local charities are being urged to put themselves forward for a chance to benefit from Moray’s biggest black-tie event.
About 320 business representatives will gather at Gordon Castle in Fochabers for the Moray Chamber Of Commerce’s 16th annual business dinner in October.
Each year, the chamber raises money for a local cause, with 2018’s chosen charity Clan Cancer Support receiving £5,500 from the auction.
To be eligible to be chosen, the charity must operate within Moray and demonstrate how their work benefits the community.
At the event, the chamber will celebrate good work by businesses in the area and the main event will bring about the presentation of the Moray Chamber Business Award to the company which has made the biggest contribution to the local economy over the year.
When applying, charities are asked to outline how they would use the money to benefit communities as well as describe work that they already undertake.
Application forms can be found at www.moraychamber.co.uk or by emailing membership co-ordinator Callum McDonald at cmcdonald@moraychamber.co.uk.
