Elgin City have signed young Caley Thistle pair Daniel MacKay and Daniel Hoban on loan until January.
Forward MacKay has made 27 first team appearances for Caley Jags since becoming the club’s youngest goalscorer when he netted on his debut in a 3-0 win over Peterhead in October 2017.
The 18-year-old came off the bench to set up Carl Tremarco’s winning goal against Dumbarton in the IRN-BRU Cup final the following year, but has recently returned from a knee injury which kept him out towards the end of last season.
Goalkeeper Hoban, 21, spent the second half of last season on loan with League 1 side Forfar Athletic, having made his Inverness debut in a 2-1 loss to Dunfermline in the IRN-BRU Cup last August.
The pair could make their City debuts when the Black and Whites travel to Annan Athletic in League 2 on Saturday.
