Traffic queues following three-vehicle crash on major Highland road

Motorists can expect disruption following a crash on the A9 this morning.

The incident happened around 8am on the southbound lane at Daviot.

Ambulance crews are in attendance but it is thought there are no serious injuries.

The road is currently blocked and police are asking motorists to use alternative routes.

A spokeswoman said: “We received a call about a three-vehicle crash at Daviot around 8am this morning.

“Police and ambulance crews are on site.

“There are no serious injuries.”
