Alfa Romeo have released more details of its new lightweight sports coupe, the 4C.
Designed and engineered by Alfa Romeo and built at the Maserati plant in Modena, the mid-engined 4C is less than four metres in length and with a wheelbase of 2.38m, the 4C’s compact shape accentuates its remarkable agility.
Power comes courtesy of a new all-aluminium four-cylinder turbo petrol engine, which delivers 240bhp at 6,000rpm and 258lb/ft of torque. To underline the flexible nature of this new engine, 80% of its torque is available from just 1,800rpm.
