The multimillion-pound Inverness Campus will be a “magnet of opportunity” for a city at the heart of Scotland’s development of life sciences, Finance Secretary John Swinney said yesterday.
Mr Swinney told delegates at a conference at the Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness that the Highland capital’s input is crucial to Scotland maintaining its global reputation for cutting edge research in life sciences.
The life sciences, knowledge and expertise conference brought together key players from government, industry, health boards and academia to discuss how the north can make the most of its life sciences industry.
