A planning application has been lodged for a new £10million housing and business development in the Loch Ness-side village of Drumnadrochit.
Loch Ness Homes wants to build 80 houses, including some 20 affordable homes, and a small retail and business park at Kilmore, opposite Lewiston Garage.
Managing director Inverness businessman David Sutherland said: “Cobbs Bakery, which employs 30 people in the village, wish to relocate to our site as it provides them with the space and location they need for expansion to meet a growing order book, which is very good news for Drumnadrochit.
