Billy McKay is in no hurry to leave Caley Thistle but knows he will continue to attract attention if he keeps up his phenomenal goalscoring record.
The 24-year-old was named SPFL Premiership player of the month for September after netting four times against Kilmarnock, Dundee (in the League Cup) and Hibs.
Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad lodged a bid of £350,000 for the Northern Ireland international before the season began and Caley Jags manager Terry Butcher is bracing himself for more bids in January.
McKay, who has scored nine goals in 12 games and is contracted to Inverness until the end of next season, is not looking for a move anywhere.
He said: “There has been a bit of attention but you can’t worry about what people are thinking. I play for Inverness and that is all I can think about. When a player is scoring goals there is going to be talk about other teams coming in.
“The manager has said he does not want to sell me and I am happy at Inverness. I enjoy playing week in, week out, so I don’t worry about what people are saying. This is the most enjoyable time of my career.
“I would love to achieve something here. It would be great to win a cup or get the team into Europe. We came so close last season, so there is no reason we can’t do it this year.”
