The crane which collapsed in Peterhead earlier this month.
An investigation has been launched after a large mobile crane collapsed at a north-east industrial site.
The 500 tonne Liebherr vehicle, owned by Tipperty firm Whytes Cranes, was working at a yard in Peterhead’s Dales Industrial Estate when the accident happened at around 1pm.
No one was injured in the incident which happened at a site owned by engineering firm Aquatic and inquiries are now underway to establish what happened.
It is understood the ground underneath the crane’s stabilising legs gave way taking the rear of the brand new machine with it.
