The extra hours are paying off for Gregg Wylde after the Aberdeen midfielder came off the bench to score his first goal for the Dons in their 2-0 win at Hibernian on Saturday.
Wylde set-up Scott Vernon for the first goal before adding a second in injury time as the Dons moved to second place in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday night.
Former Bolton and Rangers midfielder Wylde believes his extra work at Pittodrie is paying dividends on the field.
He said: “It was pleasing to get my first goal as it’s been a long time coming. But taking the three points was the most important thing. I wasn’t worrying about the fact I hadn’t scored, I’ve just been trying to get in the team. I’ve been working hard in the last 10 days and I did extra work on my own during the international break.”
