Fired-up Kyle Coetzer insists his born-again Scots are ready for a high-octane match with Holland today.
Coetzer’s men kept their T20 World Cup qualifying hopes alive with an easy 84-run win over Papua New Guinea in Dubai yesterday.
But they need a repeat against Group B leaders Holland today and Coetzer said: “Every time we play Holland there is a big rivalry and this one will be no different.
“There is so much at stake and we will go into the match looking for plenty of intensity in our performance.”
Coezter would settle for an action replay of yesterday’s commanding display in which Calum MacLeod scored his third half-century in five games as Scotland rattled up 181 for five.
He had fine support from Matt Machan (44) and Richie Berrington (43) before Rob Taylor and Gordon Goudie claimed three wickets each to clinch an 84-run win.
