A stormtrooper’s helmet and a suit worn by Daniel Craig in Bond film Skyfall are part of an auction celebrating the last 100 years of popular culture.
Christie’s is presenting Pop Culture, an online auction and featuring items from film and music.
There are 100 lots of costumes, props, photos, original artwork, instruments and personal items, and the estimates for individual lots range from £800 to £30,000, Christie’s said.
Representing James Bond’s contribution to popular culture is a two-piece wool suit in Prince of Wales check by Tom Ford, estimated at between £8,000 and £12,000.
Among the other items is a mediaeval-style gown worn by Audrey Hepburn in the 1964 film Paris When It Sizzles, estimated to go for between £8,000 and £12,000.
The floor-length gown of champagne brocade with black velvet collar and hem is by Givenchy.
From the music world is a K-Modified Selmer trumpet once owned by Louis Armstrong estimated at between £6,000 and £8,000.
One of the most well-known film franchises in popular culture, Star Wars makes an appearance with a desert poncho, worn by Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker in the 1977 Star Wars: A New Hope.
It is estimated at between £20,000 and £30,000.
A black lace Jean-Paul Gaultier evening gown worn by Lady Gaga on the red carpet for the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 is estimated at between £2,500 and £3,500.
The online auction runs until December 5.
