A new opinion poll has shown that almost twice as many voters believe pro-independence group Yes Scotland is more effective than rival organisation Better Together.
The survey, based on the views of 1,004 adults, found that 46% of people believe the Nationalists are running the most effective campaign.
A total of 24% believe Better Together is more effective and 31% don’t have an opinion or don’t know.
Among those undecided about how to vote on September 18, 32% believe that Yes has been the more effective campaign compared to 19% who favour the No campaign and 49% who don’t know.
More than one in five – 21% – of those intending to vote No feel the Yes Scotland campaign is more effective, compared with 2% of Yes voters who think Better Together has been the more effective campaign of the two.
And, while 45% of those intending to vote No feel Better Together is more effective, 84% of those supporting independence feel Yes Scotland is running the better campaign.
The poll was conducted by a firm called Progressive Scottish Opinion.
