A yacht had to be towed to safety after taking in water near Mull this morning.
A crew from Tobermory was dispatched to tow the yacht back to harbour after its two crew reported the problem off the west coast of the island.
Stornoway Coastguard received a call from the yacht at 11.16am on Wednesday.
A spokesman for the Coastguard said: “They were taking in water, they had two pumps and managed to get it under control but other vessels stood by while the lifeboat got on scene.
“They have the vessel back in at Tobermory. The yacht was out sailing around Mull at Treshnish.”
The two crew, believed to be a man and a woman, were both uninjured.
