A woman has been taken to hospital after a one-car crash on the A90 Fraserburgh to Aberdeen road.
Police and ambulance crews were sent to the scene, about four miles south of Fraserburgh, at about 4.15pm.
The accident, involving a black Suzuki Swift, blocked the road but it has now reopened.
Paramedics took one woman to Fraserburgh Hospital with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, police are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle failed to stop after colliding with a grey Nissan Almera in Peterhead last week.
The accident happened on the town’s King Street at about 2.30pm on July 16.
It is believed the second vehicle was red in colour and may have been a Ford Transit. It is likely the side panels on the driver’s side would have been damaged.
Nobody was injured, but officers want to trace the driver of the vehicle or anyone who witnessed the incident.
Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
