Graham Paterson, 60, was missing in the Cuillin Hills for three days before his body was found. The alarm was raised when another climber reported seeing a man fall at Glenbrittle. After an extensive hunt Mr Paterson’s body was found on December 29, 2012. Police, RAF and mountain rescue teams were involved in the search, as well as an RAF Lossiemouth-based Sea King helicopter. A fatal accident inquiry will be held into Mr Patterson’s death at Portree Sheriff Court on August 5. Mr Paterson, from Carbost, ran Skye Hi with his wife Annie and is also survived by two sons, Craig and Sean.
