Supporters from both sides of the independence debate took to Twitter today after two impassioned speeches from Alex Salmond and Gordon Brown.
First Minister Alex Salmond told a packed crowd in Perth they must seize the “opportunity of a lifetime”.
And earlier in the day, former prime minister Gordon Brown made what many are describing as the speech of his life in Glasgow – where he warned that independence would be an “economic trapdoor” before urging undecided voters to reject the “risks” of independence”.
Here’s some of the online reaction to their speeches.
Fair play to Alex Salmond, that was a great speech #YesWeCan

Great final speech by @AlexSalmond. Calm, statesmanlike, lucid, positive. He's had a wonderful campaign. Given it everything. #yes #indyref

Gordon Brown's speech seemed designed to persuade people. Alex Salmond's seems to be designed to congratulate the Yes campaign.
