The Scottish independence referendum has captured the imagination of the world – but few observers have regarded it quite as imaginatively as these Taiwanese animators who have produced their own tribute to the Yes campaign.
The CGI film, which has had 36,946 views on Youtube, opens with Alex Salmond and David Cameron firing lasers out of their eyes and shows the Queen sobbing over a sewing machine as she re-makes the Union Flag.
It closes with supporters brandishing Mars Bars and Irn Bru as they cry “Freedom” while a unicorn emblazoned with the Yes symbol is sent cantering up a Scottish glen – but not before listeners have been treated to two minutes of the most extraordinary Scottish accent you will hear all day.
