The workings of NHS Orkney will go under the spotlight next week as part of the organisation’s annual review.
Chief executive Cathie Cowan will present a report on the board’s key challenges and successes over the past year.
Among the achievements Mrs Cowan will highlight are exceeding the national targets for A&E waiting times and meeting the new maximum outpatient wait from referral target.
A question and answer session will follow, although it will not be possible to respond to patient-specific queries.
The event will be chaired by NHS Orkney’s chairman John Ross Scott.
It will take place at 1pm on Monday, September 29, in the Saltire Room at the Piper Suite of the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall.
The meeting will be recorded and available for viewing on the board website. Video conferencing facilities will also be available.
