Aberdeen motorists may have encountered delays this morning following incidents on two busy roads.

A broken down lorry toward Dyce partially blocked the westbound carriageway at the Propellor Roundabout in Bucksburn. Traffic cleared at around 7.45am.

Riverside Drive is closed due to a major gas leak in the area yesterday.

The road will be closed from the Polmuir Road junction to the Queen Elizabeth Bridge until Saturday as workers bring the leak under control and carry out repairs.

A diversion is in place between the Queen Elizabeth Bridge, Wellington Road, Abbotswell Road, West Tullos Road and King George VI Bridge.
