Blaze Manufacturing Solutions, a north-east oil and gas industry fire safety protection company, has appointed Stephen Pratt as the project manager for the company’s safety critical systems division.
Mr Pratt, who has 26 years experience in the industry, has held a number of roles throughout his career specialising in fire and gas, and emergency shutdown systems, working latterly as a project manager for a major name in the sector. He will be based at the company’s Kemnay office, where he will work closely with the general manager of safety critical systems, Bill Cunningham.
Mr Pratt said: “Blaze has enjoyed significant growth through the last few years and I am joining a strong and successful team in my position. This complimentary division will build on the established core business, thereby contributing to the continued growth of the company, by building on the services of the engineering office and the specialist resources it offers.”
Blaze Manufacturing Solutions, which is headquartered in Laurencekirk, works with major companies principally within the oil and gas sector to design and supply fire protection systems and loss prevention services.
