Still images taken from an emotional music video appeal to stop the closure of rural Shetland schools bring to life the sadness of those affected.
Voicing their concern, school pupils a young as five hold up placards that depict what they could lose should they have to attend to boarding school in the event of their school being closed down amid harsh cuts by the local council.
Some fear that they would be separated from their loved ones for most of the week, while others speak out at missing the fantastic extra-curricular activities like Brownies, football, and music lessons the community offers.
One child even said she doesn’t want to leave home as she would miss out on her family’s evening meal.
