A man has been arrested and charged with an allegation of hate crime after an altercation between four men in Shetland.
The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday, in Commercial Street, Lerwick, and resulted in a second man also being arrested in connection with an alleged assault.
Anyone with any information on the disturbance, which took place at 12.30am, is asked to call 101.
Meanwhile, investigations are ongoing into damage caused to a car in Main Street, Scalloway, at 9.30pm on Sunday, and involved a group of men.
One of them attempted to run across the top of a Volkswagen Polo, and police have issued a description of him.
He is in his 20s, 5ft 10in, with dark hair and a beard, and was wearing a blue jacket and jeans.
