The incident happened at about 12.20pm on the A87 Uig to Invergarry road, about four miles south of Sconser. The woman was taken by road ambulance to Broadford Hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be serious. A police spokesman said: “The car is well off the road. It went into a ditch and is on its roof. “The female driver was out of the vehicle when the ambulance and police arrived. She does not appear to be seriously hurt. “We are appealing to witnesses at this time.” An ambulance spokeswoman also said that the woman’s injuries were not serious.
