Shetland Coastguard’s rescue helicopter was called to the Dunbar Platform, 260 miles north east of Aberdeen, at 9.45am. They arrived at an emergency landing site in Lerwick at 10.45am where an ambulance transferred the man to Gilbert Bain Hospital.
