Good morning folks! How is the traffic on your journey today? If you’ve got any updates or pictures, send them in to webpix@ajl.co.uk
A diesel spill is affecting the northbound carriageway of the A9 between Kessock and Munlochy, so please be careful in the area.
On the trains, normal service has now resumed for Scotrail’s Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh line. It had problems earlier this week following a landslip.
We’ve also got the usual things to look out for:
Traffic delays will build up around Aberdeen just before 8am, particularly at Holburn Street, the Haudagain and the Beach Boulevard. Riverside Drive remains closed following a gas leak so remember to use an alternative route.
In Aberdeenshire, Shore Street in Macduff is shut due to the earlier fire at the old Highland Haven hotel.
One lane of the A90 near Portlethen is closed for roadworks, and remember night closures on the A82 at Pulpit Rock until November.
Possible delays in the Highlands as well in Garve, where temporary traffic lights are in operation at the A835 junction.
A convoy also remains in place on the A83 following a landslip at the Rest and Be Thankful. This could add some time to your journey.
#A83 convoy remains in place with diversion via Old Military Road. Will add btw 15 – 45 mins to journey. More info @ http://t.co/aHHKFFNzjq
