The accident happened outside Woodwick Stores at Rendall on the A966 Finstown-Birsay road at around 2.49pm. The two casualties have been taken to the Balfour Hospital in Kirkwall, although police said that their injuries are not life-threatening. The road will be partially blocked while the two vehicles are recovered. Diversions are in place via Tingwall.
