Here’s a handy list of the biggest firework displays happening in your area to help your bonfire celebrations go with a bang.
Wednesday, November 5
Aberdeen – at Aberdeen Beach. The event starts at 6.30pm, with the fireworks display from 7.30pm. A park-and-ride service is available from Bridge of Don, Kingswells and Calder Park. The best vantage points for the display are in the areas around the Beach Boulevard and along the Beach Esplanade
Kemnay – at Bogbeth Park. Bonfire braziers lit at 7pm, fireworks at 7.30pm. Literopes, glow sticks and sparklers will be available to buy. Burgers will be on sale from 6.30pm.
Braemar – at Mar Lodge Estate from 6pm.
Longside – at Davidson Park. Fireworks display at 6.30pm.
Spynie – at the Village Hall. Bonfire lit 7pm with fireworks shortly afterwards. Collection in aid of hall improvement.
Cruden Bay – at Mill Park. Fireworks display, Aberdeen Fire Spinners BBQ, bouncy slide and stalls. From 6pm.
Inverness – at Bught Park. Features one of the biggest bonfires constructed anywhere in the UK. Entertainment starts at 7pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7.30pm and the fireworks will begin at 7.50pm.
Stromness – at Coplands Dock car park. Fireworks and bonfire begin at 6.30pm.
Thursday, November 6
Kintore – at the Primary School Playing Fields. Bonfires lit 7pm, fireworks 7.30pm.
Saturday, November 8
Ballater – at Monaltrie Park. Fireworks 7pm.
Banchory – at George V Park. Bonfire lit 6.30pm, fireworks 7pm. Admission free, but donations welcome. All funds will go to local charities and good causes.
Elgin – at Cooper Park from 6.30pm.
Aboyne – at Aboyne Green. Bonfire starts at 6pm.
Sunday, November 9
Mulben – at Mains of Mulben, near Keith, from 6pm.
Inverbervie – at Lower caravan park, Kirkburn. Bonfire at 6pm and fireworks 6.30pm.
