Good morning P&J readers. While we might be halfway through the working week, we are expected to be hit by a another round of bad weather.
Met Office yesterday issued a “be aware” warning for several parts of Scotland and Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are on flood alert.
High winds are likely to disrupt travel with Northlink advising that services may be delayed.
Skye Bridge is currently open, but should be approached with care.
But so far, it’s not looking too bad on the roads. Here’s a a few non-weather related things to look out for.
Aberdeen motorists should note that Riverside Drive remains closed as it undergoes emergency repair work – it’s expected to partially reopen this weekend.
There’s long-term roadworks on St Machar Drive in Tillydrone at the Bedford Road junction and a temporary set of traffic lights on the North Deeside Road in Milltimber.
The usual busy-ness can be expected around Haudagain, Union Street, Holburn Street and the Beach Boulevard.
In Aberdeenshire Shore Street in Macduff remains shut due to an earlier hotel fire.
And lastly, the A890 in Ardnarff is only open between 7.00am and 7.00pm following a landslip.
