Orkney Island Council is welcoming applications to two funding pots which have been set up to boost art and culture on the island.
The Visual Artists and Craft Makers Awards Scheme supports local individual artists and craft makers through grants which can fund their own projects.
It is a partnership between Creative Scotland, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and the local authority.
Successful applicants can be offered funding of up to £1,500.
Applicants can be at any stage in their career and must have been resident in Orkney for a minimum of one year.
The deadline for this scheme is Friday, November 28.
The second of the two funds is the council’s 2015-2016 Culture Fund open pot.
This is available for local organisations planning cultural events, activities or projects between April 2015 and March 2016.
The deadline for completed applications for the Culture Fund is Monday, January 19 next year.
