VIDEO: The adorable story of Bobby the robin

An elderly woman has found a friend in a robin after it started visiting her home every morning.

77-year-old Pat Lowe met red-breasted Bobby while she was gardening on a summer’s day.

The bird then appeared on the windowsill before letting himself in for a feeding.

Ms Lowe now feeds Bobby at the same time every day and when he didn’t show one morning she feared he had been taken by a magpie.
