Travel disruption after burst water main in Inverness

Inverness motorists will face disruption this morning due to a burst water main near a central road.

The A82 on Kenneth Street is reported as ‘just passable’ between the Telford Street junction and the Tomnahurich Street junction.

Bear Scotland is assisting Scottish Water at the scene.

A spokeswoman for Bear said: “We have an assistance team on site to help deal with the incident.

“We also have a TRISS (Trunk Road Incident Support Service) vehicle helping with the heavy flow of traffic.”

The #A82 is partially blocked on Kenneth Street, Inverness due to a burst water main. This may cause additional journey times this morning.
