A developer who honed his skills in Finland and Japan has become the latest addition to the growing team at Aberdeen business software specialist Codify.
Mikko Vuorinen lends experience from the commercial and academic sectors as the Scottish firm expands to meet demand for its services at home and overseas.
The Finnish web and software developer is a graduate of the Tampere University of Technology in his homeland and also spent a year in Japan while studying hypermedia, information systems and software engineering.
He joins a Codify team buoyed by recent contract wins with clients including oilfield engineering specialists Sparrows, oilfield support services company ASCO and contract catering services provider Entier.
Codify managing director Graeme Humphrey said: “We’re delighted to welcome Mikko to the company and he will have an important part to play in what are exciting times ahead. We have built a great team with a real passion for what we do and Mikko fits perfectly with that spirit. He has a broad range of knowledge and expertise, gathered over a number of years, and will have the opportunity to grow and develop with Codify.”
Codify, established in 2000, builds custom software covering a range of business applications which include logistics, health and safety, recruitment and tool rental management.
