Four vehicles were involved in a pile up on the A90, north of Ellon. Police and ambulance services were called to the scene near the turn-off to Hillhead of Leys Farm at 4.45pm. The crash, which took place on the northbound side of the road, resulted in one male taken to ARI, but the extent of his injuries are unknown. The crash involved a white Ford Transit van, a blue Volkswagen Passaat, a grey Toyota Avensis and a white Citroen Nemo van. The road was closed for a period following the crash, but was cleared by 7pm.
