Manager Ally McCoist was more concerned about Rangers’ poor display instead of their 100% League 1 record coming to an end at the hands of Stranraer.
Hopes of claiming a 21st win in a row were dashed when Jamie Longworth struck deep into injury time to cancel out Lee McCulloch’s first-half penalty and claim a share of the points.
The 1-1 draw at Ibrox ended any speculation about Rangers going through the entire league campaign without dropping a single point this term.
But McCoist was less interested in statistics and more concerned about such a poor display from his players.
He said: “I’m not interested in the record. I’m only concerned about the level of performance that we gave and it was extremely disappointing.
“It was a really disappointing day for us. Certainly Stranraer more than deserved their point.”
