Aberdeen fans voiced their frustrations after Saturday’s 2-1 home defeat against Livingston.
The result leaves the Dons only five points above second bottom St Johnstone, who occupy the relegation play-off spot, with four games remaining.
Nicky Devlin’s opener and a Jason Holt penalty were enough for Livingston to claim the three points with Livi boss David Martindale missing the match after he was hospitalised with kidney stones.
The Dons reduced the deficit through a late Lewis Ferguson penalty but it was another tough watch for those inside Pittodrie.
Scott Robertson wrote: “We’ve been steadily slipping down the league towards relegation for some months now. If we can’t beat Livi at home we’re in serious trouble. This result was frankly expected and I honestly don’t see where we’re picking up points from against anyone else in the bottom six.”
Peter Scott wrote: “Absolute rubbish performance. I back the manager and the team through the good and bad. But man this is hard. Really hard.”
The Dons have won only one of their previous 14 games, which is a growing concern for the Red Army.
Next up is the visit of bottom of the table Dundee to Pittodrie this Saturday in another huge game.
Ronnie Martin said: “Dundee game is massive now. One win in the league since Boxing Day is horrific form. Thankfully St Mirren as poor as we are at the moment! I’m out of positive things to say any more. Can’t see where a win is coming from. Absolutely depressing state of affairs.”
Kevin Pieske wants to see Andy Considine, who is leaving the club at the end of the season, brought back into the starting line-up to shore up the defensive lapses.
He tweeted: “Considine is better than Gallagher and Bates combined. Keeping him on the bench is not the answer.”

Gordon Anderson did manage to find some positives from the performance.
He wrote: “Played Livi off the park with some good football and great individual performances from Barron (as usual) MacKenzie, Hayes and Besuijen. Unfortunately that final ball (as usual) was woeful.”
Dons fan Albert Charles said: “Well, we are in a relegation dogfight now whether you like it or not. Players are not worth the wages they are getting for just turning up.”
Tim Wood also believes the players need to start showing more desire on the pitch to avoid the dreaded relegation play-offs.
He wrote: “We’re not going down automatically, but the play-offs are looking uncomfortably close. These players seem to believe they’re too good to go down. Time for a reality check.”
Going against the grain here but I thought Goodwin summed the game up pretty well. It’s been a season long problem, we don’t take our chances and continue to concede soft goals. Lost count of amount of second ball goals we have lost this season. Big clear out needed..

Keith Connachan felt the game’s major turning point affected the outcome with Livi goalkeeper Max Stryjek fortunate to avoid being sent off after lashing out at Vicente Besuijen.
He wrote: “Livi should of been down to ten. We were the better team over 90 and we had ten men.”
Bob McGill added: “Looking forward to VAR next season.”
Sandy Collier added: “Embarrassing. Really worried now can’t see us picking up any points from last 4 games.”
Gordon Murray also feels the Dundee game on Saturday could be crucial.
He said: “Never been relegated from top division but looking possible this season. These players have no belief, which is a worry. Big game next week against a Dundee team fighting for survival.
